Who MenuOnline is for

Independent restaurants, pizzerias and quick-service concepts — and small groups that want one system.

Restaurants often pay for a POS, an online-ordering service, a loyalty app, a review tool and a signage player separately. MenuOnline puts those pieces on one platform so the menu, orders and customer data live in one place.

We researched restaurant platforms and compared how each one fits different kinds of operators. MenuOnline is first on our restaurant list for owners who want to start small, avoid paying for tools they will not use, and add online ordering, an app or a kiosk when the business is ready. For operators who need a different fit, such as full-service groups or bar-led rooms, we compare other platforms with you.

Tabletop is a MenuOnline reseller. We run the cost analysis against your processing statements, scope the modules and hardware for your room, and stay on as your point of contact after install. Our guidance is free to you. When we match your business with the right-fit vendor, that vendor compensates Tabletop — so you get an expert in your corner without paying a consulting fee.

Hardware

One counter setup, and a handheld for the floor.

The vendor’s lineup includes the P18 all-in-one smart terminal, which serves as a customer-facing display and payment terminal and can switch into a self-service kiosk, paired with a merchant-facing restaurant POS. The P8 smart mobile terminal is the handheld for tableside and line-busting use. Per the vendor, the P18 is PCI PTS 5.x and EMV certified and accepts tap, chip, magstripe and mobile wallets.

Loyalty, reviews and marketing on the same platform.

The platform lists a loyalty program (points or stamps), a review tool that can route happy customers to Google, social-post and signage design tools, and campaign tools for text and email. If you use text or email marketing, you are responsible for collecting customer consent and following the rules that apply to your messages; we can point you to the basics during setup.

Delivery and third-party ordering: the vendor lists 52+ integrations plus its own delivery service. Availability and any fees depend on the partner and module.

Where MenuOnline fits

  • Pizzerias and delivery-heavy shops — online ordering on your own site, delivery integrations, and an own-delivery app option.
  • Quick-service and counter-service restaurants — kiosk, customer display, queue alerts and loyalty.
  • Independent full-service restaurants that want to add online ordering and an app without replacing everything at once.
  • Small multi-location groups that want menus, prices and staff access managed centrally.
Pricing

Real numbers come from your statement — not a public rate card.

Software, hardware and processing are quoted per restaurant. Software pricing can depend on your payment program and processing volume, so we ask for recent statements. On the cost analysis call you see the monthly software cost, the hardware cost, and the processing cost side by side against what you pay today.

MenuOnline is a trademark of its owner. Features are summarized from vendor materials dated October 2026 and may change. Payment processing is provided by third-party processors and sponsor banks; their merchant agreement terms apply. Dual pricing and cash discount programs must follow card-network rules and state pricing and display laws.

FAQ

Common questions

Who is MenuOnline built for?

MenuOnline is built for independent restaurants, pizzerias and quick-service concepts, and small multi-location operators that want one platform for the register, online ordering, loyalty and marketing instead of several separate subscriptions. Tabletop compares restaurant platforms and recommends the ones that fit; MenuOnline is first on our list for restaurants that want an add-what-you-need system.

What is included, and what is optional?

The platform is modular. A restaurant typically starts with the POS and adds a kitchen display, online ordering on its own website, a branded iOS and Android app, a self-order kiosk, loyalty, digital signage or queue management as needed. Which modules make sense depends on your service style, and we scope them with you on the cost analysis call.

What hardware does it run on?

The vendor's lineup includes a restaurant POS terminal, the P18 all-in-one smart terminal (customer-facing display, self-service kiosk and payment terminal), the P8 smart mobile terminal, a kitchen display, an 80mm receipt printer, and a player for queue management and digital menu boards. Hardware is quoted per restaurant.

How does delivery and third-party ordering work?

Per the vendor, orders from supported delivery and ordering platforms can flow into the POS, and menus can be synchronized across them; the vendor lists 52+ third-party integrations and its own delivery service. Availability and any fees depend on the module and the partner, and can change, so we confirm current details with you before you sign.

How is it priced?

Software and hardware are quoted per restaurant. Software pricing can depend on your payment program and processing volume, so we ask for recent processing statements to quote accurately. We do not publish a rate card; the cost analysis shows you real numbers against your own statements.

Does it work with dual pricing or cash discount?

MenuOnline is designed to work with payment programs that offset card costs, including Tabletop's dual pricing and cash discount programs. Those programs must follow card-network rules and state pricing and display laws; see our program pages and we will walk through the rules for your state.

Who installs it and who supports it?

Tabletop is a MenuOnline reseller. We run the cost analysis, set up the modules you choose, help with menu upload and training, and stay on as your point of contact. MenuOnline provides the platform and its own support.
